Well, the votes are in! Thanks to everyone for the huge response, and as you can likely guess double updates won out. By quite a lot too. So sorry guys if you voted for inked, but hopefully you can still enjoy the comic! Before long I'll have an original comic starting too, whicch WILL be inked, so there'll still be ink somewhere.

I don't think we've ever had Atty so angry. Or threatened.

Just gotta say, this is hilarious. I think Atty's reaction is awesome here.

As for the double-updates vs single updates... I had a hard time choosing what to vote. But in the end, I voted double updates, because your work is amazing looking no matter what.

I voted for Ink, but the pencil pages are just as amazing :] Keep being awesome, and I don't think anyone will care about ink or pencil either way

I despise that girl, I just want her to get what's coming to her. Switching on and off the waterworks to manipulate guys is one of the most despicable things girls can do.

I voted for single updates, but that was really because inked looks more professional. If you ever publish this as a book I'd want it inked, but for just updates pencil is fine. :) Especially if it's twice a week! 8D

eh, no real loss here... doubt many people had more than a minor preference for the inks, you do such a good job on pencil. It's hard to turn down 2 pages a week

Gym Leaders have to be challenged, the eye-to-eye rule doesn't work for them. Atticus has a low tolerance for crazy bipolar drama, and we've seen he wont let dragonthing get pulverized. It's in his personality to throw up a middle finger and walk out while Elle throws a fit.

Still, given that this is a comic book (page limits constraints), odds are the Author is going to give Atticus some compelling reason to remain and 'finish the fight'. Someone will probably insinuate he's worse than his rival. I forget, has he seen that his rival has beaten this Gym yet?

Fire < ground but Fire ~ rock. Dragonthing (if healed by George) will stand a better chance against the Onyx than he did against Gutripper and Serialslasher. But still I don't see him winning conventionally.

Curious where the author will go with this! Clearly Elle and Stein are important characters, so we're obviously going to have to see a lot more of them.

@Kyn: Actually fire ~ ground and fire < rock. DT managed OK againt Gutripper and Serialslasher, but unless he somehow learns metal claw (which doesn't seem likely, as the author doesn't seem to want to do that from what he said a while ago), he doesn't stand a chance againt onix. And pikachu ain't gonna fair much better.

hard I've never felt so conflicted about voting results before. I voted for 2 pencilled updates per week, so I should be happy, and I am! I totally am! but dammit, the inked pages looked sooo much better :/ Story progression and perfect pages. Guess I can't have both.
Story over graphics every day, but it's still a hard choice :)

@Kyn: Actually, ground and rock are both super effective against fire. You're right about the advantage only if dragonthing learns metal claw, which is super effective on rock.

Damnit I missed the vote... I have to say, you're work is amazing regardless and It won't change whether I read this or not but I would prefer them inked, they just have that over all nice feel - plus that way, if you ever intend on selling them *fingers crossed* We can have a lovely polished off book :D
