No, he was right to stop Dragonthing from eating the Rare Candy, but wrong to just leave it on the ground. Should've gone to Rat, or that Magikarp we all know he bought, they need the levels more anyway, don't they?
Cute DragonThing is cute.As to what said roundular object is. I'ma deny EVERYONE and say that it is either a Protein or like item, or one of those useless X-Stat items. X-Accuracy, X-Defense, so on so forth.... Or a nugget.
@Koal: Only once- a scientist made a modified version of the Rare Candy that turned out to accidentally make the eater temporarily grow to gigantic proportions.
Why is everyone freaking out about not letting her gain ONE level? Sure, Rare Candys are, as the name suggests, rare in-game. But this is the "real" world for them. There are TONS of them. They're in wrappers for crying out loud! Someone is mass producing them and someone probably accidentally dropped that and figured it wasn't worth it to pick it back up.
I am going to retract my prior comment.I have to say it is indeed a rare candy.
Reasoning, if you look in the first three panels, with it sitting on the ground, you'll note that it is in what looks to be an unwrapped wrapper. As far as I'm concerned, case closed.
Atty and George were walking along (actually Atty was trying to run away from George)and this guy with a Dragonair wants to battle Atty!
And Atty is like "NO NO NO" So he throws rocks and sticks at the guy until he falls on the ground and is like "Eh, I'm dying."
George tries to help the guy and Atty just walks on.
Atty comes back eventually, find George gone and that the guy is in fact really dead and smelly. And his Dragonair is pregnant and just about to give birth.
But it was all a comic so I didn't get to see the next page where you see the baby whatever evolves into Dragonair.

Hi there. Just letting you know there might be a break on pages for a little while. A couple weeks or so. I'm sorry to do this, I hate missing updates, but right now I have some health issues. I wish I could continue as normal but at the moment I just can't deal with an update schedule weighing over me. I'm sorry to those who donated for faster updates, but to make it up, when I go back to updating I'll put a load of extra updates in the following weeks to make up for it. So I hope that's okay.
Pretty much par for the course, really.@Crauss: I'm honestly not surprised, many of the webcomic artists I keep tabs on get sick often. So I'm understanding and patient about it. It happens often enough for me not to get impatient about it.
Pokemon = eating = ?Never even once in all my Versions, and I have 'em all, my little Monsters eat.
I don't give 'em berries, I don't give 'em candy and I don't give 'em Limo.
Least I need is a 'Mon with Karies.
I cast my vote for it being a rare candy too. The shape is rather reminiscent of a lemon drop, though slightly rounder. I bet they're yummy - maybe made from sitrus berries. If he (or she?) can get there quick enough, maybe Rat will find it & get to level up!
So, how many of you have gotten your Charmander in X or Y and named it Dragon Thing?
@FenrixIX: I originally named mine Zippo (which is a name I've used before), but changed it to Dragon Thing when I got to Camphrier Town (or Camphophenique Town as I keep thinking of it).
@whoop: Mine is a male, but I named him DT anyway. :D
@GWRAndo: I went with Squirtle in Pokemon X. Pokemon Y that I'm playing now, I chose Charmander. So, I now have 2 fire types on my team (Charmeleon now & Combusken).
I've a few friends (and my boyfriend) who named their Charmanders DT. I probably would have done the same but since I started with Fennekin and had the event Torchic, I picked Squirtle to make up for the amount of fire starters thrown at my face.
I don't really nickname my Pokémon, myself, though I did nickname my entire team in Red last time I played through, for fun... Let's see, there was Sheldon, the Blastoise... Needles, the Nidoking... Tabasco, the Arcanine... Brainstorm, the Dodrio... Jungle, the Vileplume... and Footwork, the Hitmonlee. Oh, and my Aerodactyl Skeleton Missingno. in Blue is nicknamed Skelefly.
