Coloured wristbands are a stingy way some swimming pools use to not let people stay in the pool as long as they like... It happens sometimes here, I don't know if it's a worldwide thing. Just in case you were wondering.

See y'all soon.

DT is gonna need some backup This water Gym is going to be abysmal for DT unless rat makes his heroic appearance. Time for some bonding with the almighty rat thing :P electrocute the water and watch his fish fry!

Yes Atty, this is exactly as planned. it was just a shitty plan XD

and we typically just use those for carnivals and such here. other than that everything's just posted (closing at X time, or adults only after X hour, etc.

Yes, DT is at a disadvantage, but if she goes down she'll won't be going down alone. She was never trained, but she faced a Feraligatr and held up for a while, and she took down an Onix once she was trained. I think she'll do well in this gym, but she will take a lot of damage, and maybe even faint.

I do hope that Atty will use some of this other Pokemon if this battle too though, like Oddish and Rat. Maybe Magikarp will evolve or be used as fodder.

Maybe he'll send out the Eevee (we all know you have it Atty!), that would be a shocker for George!

Typically you pay to get in the pool and stay until you leave. Our pools do get crowded sometimes, but I highly doubt an hourly-rotating system would be accepted here.

DEDLEDEDLEDEDLEDEDLEDEDLE Commence kickass gym leader music!

In all seriousness though, I wonder if Atty will get his butt whooped first like he did in the first gym. Whether he wins or loses it will cause for a very interesting scene. Hell, as someone interested in the battles, I'm MORE interested in what happens after this battle. And I mean that in a good way. Will Artemis be left speechless, or will Atty have to buy her a new book and give up George's hoodie? Hell, come to think of it, if what's his face has a much stronger team that he didn't use for his gym battles, will Artemis use her much stronger team because she's gotten pissed off? Friday, come sooner, please.

I get the feeling either Rat will be proven of use and Atti will begin to acknowledge it........or the dancing oddish will totally steal the stage and rat will remain ignored.

I just hope that rat wins the gym for atty. Yes, he is probably heading to the road that everyone of us took: Only train your starter the first play, but honestly i think that would be... Cliché.

Rat has plenty of XP. @JuanBleh: Every pokemon gets XP as long as he participates in the battle. Rat was out all the time so he gets XP for the battles, even if he did nothing.

And by the time you get to the second city, you can win with any starter pokemon, so DT will kick ass.

I was just at a water park the other day. They had colored wrist bands that went with the day. Like, for Saturday it was blue, and that also got you in on the morning on Sunday, but by afternoon on Sunday, you needed a new yellow one.

'Round here wrist bands are just for re-entering the building after you leave. You pay per day not per hour, or whatever this seems to be.

I never go swimming, so I'd never heard of using wrist bands, but I gotta say, it makes sense.

Honestly, I'm not sure Atty thought this through--fighting the gym leader and making himself the center of attention (when he's in the middle of running from the police) may not have been the best plan A. :P Haha, can't wait to see how it turns out.

I remember a pool that I used to go to use colour wristbands, there was a display and annoucement for when a certain colour had to get out (to keep things from getting TOO crowded in the pool), not sure if they still use them tho, it's been years. (oh and this is in the UK btw, a place called blackwater leisure centre)

Never had wristbands, but a water park I used to go to would ink stamp your hand if you wanted to leave for a bit.

His team is going to get wiped out.
As of now, Atty doesn't understand how battle mechanics work and doesn't give much instruction to his team. Only DT knows how to fight on her own and there's only so many water guns a Charmeleon can take.

Unless Atty can get Rat to thundershock the swimming pool, Artemis has this in the bag.

As a fellow British person i can attest to the fact that yes the wrist bands are pretty normal here, they did however stop being used in both my local pools a few years ago which makes going so much more worth it now.

As for the page.... good luck DT.

The wristband thing works really well for pools that have high populations, but here in small town USA, it's not needed.
