Thad coulda also added 'plus I've got a gun, bitch', buuuuut I'm pretty sure Atty hasn't forgotten in a hurry. Though he might have tried.

EDIT: I do find it interesting how many people seem to think Atty, the guy who can't run a couple of streets without getting winded, is an action hero who can knock Thad unconcsious with a swift blow to the back of the head, scoop up DT in her pokeball and run away, with absolutely no fear of being shot in the back or attacked in general. I know the rest of us are adept at instantly high kicking any threat in the face and immediately resolving the situation, but that's not Atty.

Yes admittedly he could try attacking Thad with his unconscious pokemon and magikarp to see if it makes him feel sorry enough for him to just GIVE Dragonthing back, but that hasn't occurred to him.

See y'all soon.

Ugh, I wish Dragonthing could just flamethrower Thad in the ass right now. ;_; This is really rough.

Recall and send her back out again, would be free of the restraints right?
September 12th, 2017, 7:34 am
Throw the Pok├ęball at him XDD

It would be worth a try, however it depends how greatly I'd fail. My shame at failing badly with Thad's echoing laugh would hurt more than a punch to the face XD

@chaos-of-vinnie: Tossing the pokeball at Thad would be a good idea if pokeballs worked on humans.
September 15th, 2017, 5:13 pm
@someone: Nah way its hard might hurt depending on how you threw it :D

playground strategy: Kick Thad in the pokeballs, take D.T. and book it!

Technically his best bet would be to return dragonthing and then immediately send her back out. Of course Thad has already proven he can somehow catch dragonthing but it would be the best chance of success.

Truly exceptional edited comment with this page. Made me laugh.

Yes, he DOES have balls, Thad! Good job, you know how Pokemon works!

Oh...y-you meant those balls....I wouldn't know...I don't spy on guys with their pants down... 0_0

Nod at the dragonthing without any actual plan in mind and hope for the best!

I don't think Atty is an action hero. I just don't think Thad would expect him to suddenly and out of nowhere escalate this entire thing to murder, which is all the jump he needs to commit murder.

I love the people in the previous page who thought a 15 year old teen could fight off someone older and stronger, not to mention way more violent, who's wielding a gun, all of it by himself.
It's almost as if they want a shounen anime or something instead of an original fancomic.
September 15th, 2017, 9:45 pm
It doesn't really take an action hero to get out of this situation. Their size and builds are similar. There doesn't appear to be a massive weight/strength difference here. Atty had no trouble grabbing Thad earlier and shoving him up against the cave wall.

He had a couple major opportunities where Thad's only hand was occupied, gun not in hand or even in sight, (Once even when Thad had turned his back to him!) plus if he gets DT back in her ball he can send her right back out and have her light Thad up. Then you run while he puts out his clothes.

Also, yes, Thad has been shown to have a gun in the past. However it is not -in hand- now and we've seen nothing to indicate Thad is some kind of quick draw artist. This just seems... unnecessarily complicated.

@kryptoknight: Until Thad pushed him off, Atty did indeed get him by surprise once. Probably got himself by surprise, too. But Thad at that point evidently hadn't expected Atty to be so very angry. ...Which probably says something about him.

If we're going by the anime, Pokeball recall lasers actually deliver a pretty decent shock to humans they hit. Happened to Jesse during the golden Sudowoodo episode.
I'm here for the comics.

True, but Thad just has it coming, I want Atty to beat the crap out of him so bad :'(

So basically your edited comment means he's screwed right?

If he can't overpower them and unless DT goes fuck it and burns That'd ass, there's no way out of this.

Dragonthing, Evolve!! Not likely, since the 3rd gym is early to mid 20s, but Fish on the other hand evolves at 20... and since Fish wasn't used in the gym, it should still be on Atty since Fish had no need to be healed.
September 16th, 2017, 11:29 am
That or the Eevee, but I don't see Atty using that
September 16th, 2017, 11:53 am
@Dragongirl101: I'm pretty sure Atty gave Eevee back to Abel.

Pokeballs "If you got balls..." Atty's got at least 7 balls, even a few ultraballs! He can do this!

... I feel like that single long earring is just begging to be tugged
September 16th, 2017, 4:40 pm
I'm loving this interaction right now. This is the right amount of intensity, now all I need is Atty's response. I'm not asking him to fight in the name of friendship or anything, just... Just don't go out like a bitch Atty...
September 19th, 2017, 11:38 pm
@Rubyfire41: Best to go in with lowered expectations at this point.
September 16th, 2017, 5:19 pm
Atty, ask yourself if you're feeling lucky.
September 16th, 2017, 8:17 pm
That awkward moment when it's not DT's Pokeball. It's Fish's.
September 16th, 2017, 9:49 pm
>claws and mouth held shut by cloth
>fire at the end of her tail

c'mon DT. You're smarter than this.

XD That edit made me laugh. I got an image of Atty trying to smack Thad with his fish.

Nah, Atty's actions here are totes understandable and way more realistic. I love the emotion.

You know, I don't think even Thad can just take a Fish to the face and shrug it off.

Don't forget that Thad subdued DT in the first place. 'e's far from 'armless.

DT, Atty is useless, it's up to you! Just get that tail near your muzzle..burn off that rope...AND FLAMETHROWER. =P Atty's no action hero...but DT totally is.

Maybe Dragonthing could burn the ropes? You know, with her uncovered tail...
