You know, when you think about it, almost ALL of the Pokemon are unspeakably terrifying. Giant bees, poisonous mushroom insects, three headed birds with sharp beaks and claws... even the cute ones can have the ability to electrocute, burn, freeze, maim, etc... In the anime everybody survives everything so it's alright, but if they were real wouldn't human kind be like... dead?

So yeah. If I was Dragonthing, and I was running towards something, and I noticed THOSE features, that's prolly what I'd do too. A rodent should never, ever be that terrifying. Of course, zoomed out, a`la Panel 5, it's just so dang cute. :s Good idea DT, he'll never think to check Atty's hat~

That last panel has convinced me to think of DT as a girl. If she's a boy, that panel becomes disturbing. But only because I read your comment. ._.

Imagining this whole scene in a fluid animation made me lawl. Dragonthing running straight at that Nidothing all determined-like, stopping a few feet away, turning around, and running straight back. xD At least Atty seems to be fireproof, or his clothes and hair would have totally caught on fire.

Oh Atticus, you can't despise that dragon thing forever. It's your ticket to riches! If you could just figure out how to make it work right. Try adjusting the antennas, that usually works for me.

Ah~ I love coming back from a trip and seeing updates. Especially of this comic.

I LOVE the expressions here.
Especially DT in the fourth panel.
And oh my gosh that EYE. (and the Nidoran's teeth and spikes too) Those close-up shots are epic. Gotta ask - do you also draw the... I think they're called action lines? by hand, or do you add them later? (sorry for the random question...)
