What are the characters' full names?

I shall add to the list as more appear, but of the main ones we have seen, we have Atticus Brent, and Kahn and Mana Miles. Dragonthing is just Dragonthing.

Why does Atticus smoke?

Probably the most asked question. Atticus is a character I've had for a long time and aged down for the purpose of this comic- as is the case for many of the characters in the comic. In his original design, he was designed to be a heavy smoker, and he did indeed start smoking young, at the age of thirteen in fact. There IS a reason he smokes, and he shall give it someday, but for now... 'Because he wants to' will have to suffice.

What are those lines on Atticus' face? Is he related to Naruto?

No, Atty is not related to Naruto. Thank the heavens. Those are just the thin beginnings of sideburns.

Does Dragonthing realize that is its proper name?

Yes, Dragonthing has become accustomed to its name- In earnest that title is the least of its worries at the moment.

When will Atticus declare his ambition to become the richest?

Soon XD As soon as he realizes that one can earn money from this lifestyle likely. So let's wait until he wins a battle.

Why is Atticus so bitter about the whole Pokemon lifestyle?

Atticus treats the pokemon lifestyle like most many other things. Sarcastically. I doubt he hates it far more than many other things, except now he largely resents that he has to embark on it and take up the time he would rather spend on his favourite hobby.

What do you use to make your comics?

I use a bamboo fun tablet to make a very rough sketch of the page on photoshop with the panel borders, I then print this off and ink over the top. I use a 0.05 and a 0.5 pen for the inking. This method is useful as if I screw up in the inking, I can just print off another copy.

Why are you afraid of carrot and corriander soup? Does coriander have two r's?

That is indeed a dark dark tale. It all relates to childhood trauma, where every christmas I would be forced to eat my stepmothers homemade carrot and corriander soup, despite it literally making me sick every time as I ate it. Now I physically can't stand the smell of the blasted thing without being knocked sick, let alone the taste. My spellchecker is telling me Corriander has in fact one R but I'm too obstinate to go back and correct it.

How frequently do you update?

Mondays and Fridays. Occasionally Wednesdays too.

What are the characters' favorite colors?

Of the character's who have been introduced, I can tell you that Atticus' favourite colour is brown. He was born to be an old man I swear.

What are the characters' favorite foods?

Other than the cigarettes he eats, Atticus' favourite food is omelette, and it is the only dish he can make. However it doesn't matter so much what he eats at all as his sense of taste is more or less dulled to oblivion. Smoking does that, and even more so when you burn your tongue black by eating lit cigarettes periodically.

How did you light yourself on fire twice?

I have a thing... I always tend to fiddle with anything that's around. Particularly lighters. One morning I was idly clicking what I thought to be a broken lighter under a sheet of paper. Y'know, as one does. Then lo and behold, it turned out the lighter wasn't so broken after all and the paper set on fire. And then traveled up my sleeve and set me on fire with it. I tell ya, in that situation, stop drop and roll flies straight out of your head and is replaced with 'shout your head off and beat the fire with your hand'. The second time I left the kitchen roll too close to the toaster and it caught fire, and as I grabbed it and threw it out onto the pavement to stamp on it my sleeves caught on fire once again. Same old same old.

Fortunately, neither of these times did I die.

What are your favorite webcomics (or ones that you'd suggest)?

Oh there's a lot! To name a few of the ones I know to be currently updating, in no particular order... Don't Fear the Reaper (love to ya fishuuuuu <3), Uneventfull (Adorin' ya work, The Radical), Picture's of You (the one and only Gibson Twist), and Toilet Genie (the inspirational Blix). When will we get to see (fanfavorite character) again?

This story will mostly be following Atticus' journey so it will mostly entail people who he meets on his adventures. Some people will come and go, few will stay for long... As is the way of life... But I can promise you that Oak will be seen again. Someday.

Will (character) & (character) ever hook up? Will there be teh pr0nz?

Now that would be telling ;D But keep in mind that the kids in this comic are teenagers, and although romance is not the focal point of this story, yes, teenagers ARE often concerned with hooking up so it would be silly to not include such things. As for pr0nz... I'd be foolish to say there will be none solely as I know that the prospect of such a thing is the only reason some people read comics. Mmm. Mokepon rule 34. Delicious.

What video games, other than pokemon, inspired this work?

I would say that when it comes to Mokepon it is more or less only pokemon that inspired this work. The other inspirations can only really be described as a cacophony of influences from my life in general.

Who are your favorite authors (manga, film, literary, etc.)?

Favourite authors, Terry Pratchett. Yeah I'm a Pratchett fan. As for manga... I don't read as much as I should... And my favourites are the surprising couple of Fruit's Basket and Battle Royale. Eclectic.

Do you like sandwiches? If so, what kind?

I like sandwhiches. Sandwiches are delicious. It's gotta be hot chicken and mayonnaise... Yeah.

Where was the most interesting place you've traveled?

I forget. Some places in my youth that my parents dragged me to. I'm not very well traveled. I'm too cosy in England.

Will the protagonist visit other pokemon world regions?

Mokepon is soley based on the Red and Blue games, so it will solely take place in the Kanto region. Not to say that the other regions don't exist in this comic. It might be a little early to be suggesting I'll ever reach the sequel to Mokepon (but it does exist! A couple of them. All snug in my brainbox) but if that day ever should arrive, it will take place mostly in Johto.

Would a pokemon mmo not be the greatest fucking thing ever? If not, what would be?

It wouldn't be the greatest fucking thing ever, because there already is one and I'm lead to believe it's shit. But if there WAS one that wasn't shit and was actually the greatest fucking thing ever, it would be the greatest fucking thing ever.

What are your favorite vices (sex, collecting useless items, smoking, breeding pokemon, drugs, chocolate, etc.)?

Coffee. Coffee. I love coffee. It is a good thing. I love it almost as much as talking to my most dearest friend now and forever Krazeh.

What type of coffee do you enjoy? Or are you polyamorous in that regard?

I'm very easily pleased, and coffee is no exception to this. My favourite is the really crappy kind that you get for forty pence out of the machine in a naffy plastic cup, y'know, the ones that look like they dispense ditchwater ;D delicious.
